Gift Cards

My giftcards portray different holidays. I spent the most time on Halloween, obviously. I was sort of running out of time and had to rush through the rest, but I think they still cam out pretty well either way. I used the stroke effect on my logo and store name "Anime Mart" and I made sure that the store name looked very emphasized from the rest. I also made sure to use different fonts like curly stuff for Valentine's Day.

Brush Fun

These are the brushes I used today. The flower brush from Mr.Sands, the bird brush from a website, and the pengiun brush by me.

Dastardly Weekly Magazine

This is the Dastardly Weekly Magazine Cover. Scar Eeyore makes his big debut on the cover this week. He's so happy. Dastardly Weekly magazine editors learned how to use color schemes on this week's cover and also how to photoshop together a good background. The editor's best friend became the burn tool and erase tool as the shadows had to be created for the setting sun and the trees needed to have softer edges. The editors really wished the trees looked better and that Eeyore looked like he fit in better, but it still seems like he's more noticeable and that is actually something to smile upon. The editor would enjoy making more magazine covers.

Scar Eeyore

This is Scar-Eeyore. He grew enraged with the animals of the Hundred Acre Woods after so much teasing over his pink tail bow. I really like how his mane turned out. I would have liked making it bigger, but I could not fix the angles to make it look right. I think that this project also helped me master the zoom tool. I learned how to use it in many situations for this project. The most difficult thing about this project was getting the colors right. Should I do this project again, I would probably get several pictures of Scar and Eeyore so I could make the mane work the way I had originally planned.

Pikachu

The following is a pikachu made of pikachus.
I hate how the right foot turned out, but I had to rush it to get it done on time. I really like how it's face and tail came out, though. I would like to make another some time since they are kinda fun in a weird way. This really helped me learn how to make text go around objects.

Funny Words

So, I learned all about writing in Photoshop today. This is everything I learned. I tried to tell a story at first, but I soon gave up. I learned all about distorting text and adding shadows and stuff. My favorite is Nyan Cat. I don't think I could do anything to improve it.

Scary Stuff

This is the scariest thing I've ever made. It's Carly Rae Jepsen, a singer, mixed with Marceline, a cartoon character. I had some trouble with getting the face to look the way it does, but I like how it turned out. Aside from it being scary as heck. Should I do this project again, I would probably pick something that would not give me nightmares by the end. I learned not to make scary stuff on Photoshop from this project and the most difficult thing about this piece had to be getting the fringe right.

Aisha

This is Aisha. I think she looked fine before, but I guess magazines would not agree because they had several things that needed to be fixed... according to them. So, here is my way of fixing it. I think it looks pretty good except for my lightening and darkening. I'm still getting use of that tool on Photoshop.

Retouching Girls 1 and 2

So, here's the first girl. She came out pretty nice. I don't think I can think of anything else I can do to her.
This is the second girl. I rushed her, but I think she still came out pretty good. I probably could have done something with her eyes though...
