Photoshop Tutorial: Frog Tongue
This woman was a test subject. She was in a teleporter device tube and the other tube held a frog. You can see what happened. Pretty good story, right? Well, I like how this piece came out. The tongue design on the frog lines up with everything quite nicely and I'll enjoy showing off this one as well. With this project, I learned how to use the clone stamp tool and some new hotkeys.
Photoshop Tutorial: Angry Pancakes
So, these are some pancakes. They probably want to eat you more than you want to eat them, but I still had fun making them nonetheless. I actually have had tons of fun showing this picture off to friends, family.... random strangers in the park... Each time my story of being a "bad cook" gets more obscure, but, back to the matter at hand, this tutorial helped me get better with photoshop. Being that I still don't know what half the tools do, I'd like to think that this project helped me learn the basics of Photoshop.

Ceramics
I created a dish bowl thing that looks slightly like a boat

I had to cut out a slab of clay and use a template to create this piece. I really like how this one came out. I can't wait to see how it looks after the glaze finishes in the kiln!

Pastel Still Life
I used chalk pastels to create this still life:

I think that I could have done better, in my opinion. I guess that adding more shading may have helped.

Stencils!
To make stencils, I had to first choose a picture. I chose a Pokemon. Specifically, Purrloin.

Purrloin! I choose you!
I then made it black and white on photo shop and had to trace it and create a bigger version on some poster board. I then created a frame and painted it as to make it pretty. I used many complimentary colors to help with emphasis in the final piece. In the end, it looked really good.

I enjoyed making this and I would do it again if I had the chance.

Oil Pastel Expressive Portrait
I decided while making this piece, my sister really needed a spolight. So, I drew her. I love her new look, don't you?

She's never looked better if I do say so myself. I really enjoyed making her so I guess I will do this again... as soon as I can get myself some oil pastels for home.
